Dr. Dennis Law, Dr. Ronald Law, Dr. Christopher Law and Dr. Jeremy Law are Four Brothers Entertainment. The four brothers, like the Seven Dwarfs, have their own personalities. Dennis is a general and thoracic surgeon, Ron, a cardiologist, Chris, a plastic surgeon, and Jeremy, an orthopedic surgeon.
Raised in Hong Kong, the Law brothers came to the United States to attend university. Dennis, Ronald and Christopher received their undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, while Jeremy chose the University of Colorado. All four attended the University of Pennsylvania Medical School-a standing record for four consecutive siblings in the school's entire history. They eventually set up individual practices in Colorado where they all currently reside.
As well, each are active philanthropists in Colorado supporting a range of arts, health and humanitarian organizations including Opera Colorado, Colorado Ballet, scholarships at the University of Pennsylvania, the Graduate School of International Studies at Denver University, the Alliance for Contemporary Art and the Asian Art Association of the Denver Art Museum, among others.
Furthermore, the brothers are all directors of the family's Hong Kong-based Joseph & Loretta Law Foundation which has supported a wide variety of charitable and community causes since 1994, many of them in the areas of East-West cultural exchange. Joseph and Loretta continue to be active to the present.
In 1997, the brothers produced Warriors of Virtue, an MGM distributed action-fantasy family film which was the highest budget American motion picture ever produced in China. The children's film embraced the five classic virtues of their Chinese heritage: benevolence, righteousness, order, wisdom, and loyalty.
The Law Brothers own Global Pacific Properties, Inc., a commercial real estate firm that owns and manages 1,000,000 square feet of commercial space primarily located in Denver, Colorado. They also own Holiday Creations, Inc., a leading consumer-products company in the United States for Christmas and seasonal products.
In December 2001, Four Brothers Entertainment purchased The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts where they will showcase a broad range of entertainment and corporate events. They will hope to provide a forum for the film and television industry, speakers, and conventions.
